Born 1967 in Stuttgart. Lives and works in Berlin A simple shift in scale is enough to disrupt this order of things. When the building blocks are so greatly enlarged that their structures obstruct space, they turn the production principles against themselves. The huge childlike toy proliferates like a jungle, and transforms spaces into dysfunctional inaccessible caves. The break with the functional pattern arouses childlike paranoia in the face of something that doesn’t fit.
